ZEI Ltd takes care of the computing needs of small to mid-sized businesses. Since 1998, we have served dozens of customers. Those customers stay with us. Our oldest has been with us since we started back in 1998. In fact, over the ten years, only one customer has left us for a competitor.

What makes us so successful? Our business model. We made a conscious decision from the beginning to focus on quality, not quantity. That means that ZEI Ltd has remained a small company by design.

Having a modest number of employees, we can ensure that each and everyone can get the job done. That includes the principals of the company. No one who works for us in any capacity has less than six years of experience.

So our customers get highly personalized and highly competent service from everyone at ZEI Ltd from the CEO down. What every ZEI Ltd customer says about us is that whenever they contact us and whatever they are looking for us to do, that we will do everything we can to get it done and to get it done right. We may even go a little overboard, but that is only because we hold ourselves to a higher standard.

Our customers also appreciate our honesty. We operate with full transparency. Our customers can access from any computer with a connection to the Internet every piece of information about our work – that is, they know everything we do from the moment we start a task until it is complete.

A good example of what it means to hold ourselves to a higher standard involved a very large insurance brokerage startup. This startup was very well capitalized and needed to setup offices in six cities spanning two continents within a year’s time. Like most large organizations, they brought in a large system integrator to put all the essential network pieces in place.

Two months into the project things were not going well and the startup was desperate for help. Someone inside the startup knew about us and we were contracted to do whatever it took to get everything running properly.

For the next six months we dove in and did everything the big system integrator was supposed to do. We designed, installed, configured, and maintained five domestic offices, one UK office plus a data center. That included putting together a budget, procuring all equipment, and all of the implementation planning and logistics. Also included was their complete enterprise email system and all of their network communications. We were also responsible for all san and nas storage, file systems and databases. Finally we were responsible for their disaster recovery plans, including selecting a hot site, and DR planning, implementation, configuration, and testing.
